Stefano Cammelli received his Master degree in Structural Engineer from the University of Genoa (Italy) in 2003. He became Chartered Professional Engineer in Italy in 2004, Chartered Engineer in the UK and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2008.

He is currently the Manager of the Tall Building Group at BMT Fluid Mechanics, internationally recognised as a leading independent specialist in the field of wind engineering and offshore marine consultancy.

His role principally involves the overall management of the wind engineering work of tall and super-tall building projects as well as the overall control of the research & development of methods of analysis of wind-sensitive tall structures.

Stefano has led the wind engineering work of a number of BMT Fluid Mechanics’ high profile tall building projects including more than 30 super-tall structures spanning between the Middle East and the Far East.

Furthermore, Stefano has been responsible for the peer review process of the entire wind engineering work conducted on the proposed Chicago Spire (a 2,000 feet skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois, USA).
