Peter Thompson
Peter Thompson is the Technical Director of Buro Happold Facades Group. He has 39 years experience of building envelope design, which includes many years of window and curtain wall product system design and twenty two years experience of design in the specialist cladding contracting industry.
For the last nine years he has worked for Buro Happold Facades Group, on the design of the facades for many high rise buildings including Tameer Towers in Abu Dhabi, Torre Iberdrola in Bilbao, The Index Building for DIFC in Dubai, Pan Peninsular in Canary wharf and Alrriyadh.
Current projects include a 500m high tower in Mumbai and
several tall buildings in the new King Abdullah Financial District in
Riyadh.
As Technical Director he is responsible for ensuring a high level of technical competence across the Façade Group and he provides strategic technical direction to the Group on all projects.
