Mohsen contributes specialist skills to
the identification of geotechnical hazards that might affect concept design, programme and construction cost. This early-day service can produce significant efficiencies in the
development process.
Mohsen’s 25 years’ experience as a geotechnical engineer encompasses building and civil engineering projects as well as underground structures. His expertise ranges from project feasibility, planning, technical management, interpretation of major site investigations and independent review to soil-structure interaction analysis, geotechnical modeling, instrumentation and ground improvement. Geotechnical analysis and foundation design are particular strengths.
Extensive experience of the analysis and design of substructures and foundations – including the re-use of existing foundations – has meant that Mohsen is often called upon for specialist advice on large and complex urban projects.
Often, these have involved deep excavations, construction above and next to underground railway structures, and monitoring.
